LUIS VALTUEÑA international photography exhibition
is a yearly contest that was founded in tribute to Luis Valtuena himself who lost his life in a humanitarian volunteer mission when in Rwanda with Doctors of the World. Doctors of the World Spain then decided to organize this contest each year, only humanitarian photographers can participate. The aim is to keep the public informed of the world’s major injustices through art in a hope to help make a shift of consciousness fight for human rights and eventually make the world a better place.
